Striped Bass and Bluefish

Striped bass and bluefish are favorite game fish on the East Coast. This is a great family event because of the beautiful coastline and the proximity to shore. During your trip we will show you how lobstermen in Maine catch their lobsters. Reel Action has lobster traps that we will check during your charter and show you first hand how lobstering works. Get ready for non-stop action during these trips in summer and fall. These bass trips are Reel Actions most popular trips for good reason.

Football bluefin tuna trips

Football Tuna are small bluefins that take long and powerful runs. Reel Action targets the footballs with spining reels and small trolling reels which will give anglers the light tackle fight of a lifetime. Unlike the Giant bluefin trips you can take your catch home with you.

Shark and Ground fish Trips

These tend to be the most exciting charters. During the day it is not uncommon to catch 7 or more of these monsters. Makos Blues, Poorbegal and Threshers are the sharks that we will be targeting during your charter. Through the day we can give you a chance to try your luck at ground fishing. This is where you can fill the coolers to have that fresh fish dinner. Haddock, Cod, Pollock and the occasional Halibut will surely keep the rods bent.
It is the decision of the client to decide what the trip will entail. Some clients just want to catch sharks, some like to just ground fish and others want a mix; the decision is yours but prices reflect shark fising only.

8  hour trip: $1075 + Gratuity for mate
10 hour trip: $1175  + Gratuity for mate
12 hour trip: $1275  + Gratuity for mate

Giant Bluefin Tuna Trips

Want to battle the most powerful fish in the ocean? Come with us as we chase Bluefin up and down the coast. We know how to put them in the boat. These trips are not for the faint of heart!

Reel Action takes great pride in our bluefin tuna techniques. Our techniques are so productive that we have filmed TV specials on bluefin tuna fishing. If you want to learn how the best tuna fishermen in the industry fish then Reel Action is your only choice.

12 Hour Trip: $1275+ Gratuity for mate

Sunset Crusies

What better way to finish your day or start your evening than a sunset cruise of beautiful Casco Bay. We will take you through the many islands that Casco Bay is famous for and will have a stop at "cocktail cove" for some refreshments. We can take you back to the marina or drop you off at Peaks Island or Great Diamond Island to let you arrive for your dinner reservation in style.
Note; Please check with the Casco Bay Ferry Lines to inquire when the last ferry leaves the island. We will be glad to pick you up, but prior arrangements with Reel Action Charters must be made. 6 passengers are welcome
